“GET TO THE CHOPPA!!!!” We kept singing to ourselves when Total Brutal came out. Now we have a new brutality that came and hit us in the face like a motorcycle from Hell, Double Brutal. Now when a new album comes out, it needs to have new blood in it to keep things fresh. With this comes the change in the Arnold voice, instead of Chad Ackerman on Total Brutal, Josh Thompson has had the privilege to be the new Arnold voice on Double Brutal. Then to top it off with an all new Arnold, the second part of the album is almost entirely covers, good covers too which you don’t see too much of lately. Ranging from Metallica, Misfits, even Agnostic Front.

With plenty of amazing songs to make you sing along wither you like it or not and the beat to make you move, I guarantee you will like this album. Tim Lambesis creates this ultimate persona of incredible music including fast paced drums, amazing guitar solos, and once again, amazing lines from famous Arnold movies. It’s a prefect blend and in my personal opinion Josh Thompson’s Arnold voice fits Austrian Death Machine better. Every song on Double Brutal is defiantly something new and unique compared to Total Brutal. I was very impressed with the ambitious release of Double Brutal with how busy Tim has been with As I Lay Dying and the debut release of Total Brutal. Great turn around time on the new album and it turned out great. Major props to Tim and Josh for their contributions to metal with Austrian Death Machine.
