The beautiful dynamic of Deflorate is that it is relentless and doesn't stop at all. It's straight metal every song. As each song progresses, so does the technicality of each song. The solos are bone crushing, the drums are mach 5 speed, and the lyrics are top notch, telling an epic story in such great detail. It's impossible to pick a favorite song or to pick out the ones that stick out the most. Every song is perfect to the last detail. What I absolutely love about the album is that it just isn't one kind of metal. It covers the entire spectrum of every possible of metal there is.

The music is amazing, all the members do an amazing job. The solos are out of this world. Each song shows the true expression of the amazing talent of Ryan and Brian work so well off of each other. You can't have one without the other. The drums are purely amazing, the raw talent and speed are unparalled to anything I've ever heard. Trevor uses his extensive, descriptive vocabulary to help portray the most epic story in lyrics that are descriptive that nobody can touch. Last but not least is Bart, he is godly at keeping up with the guitars while at the same time laying down his own unique track that help keep the album amazing. All five of these talents are the perfect blend for a perfect album.

Like I stated earlier, it's impossible to pick out favorite songs from Deflorate. Each song blends Unhallowed, Nocturnal, and Miasma tones all into a perfect album. For any metal lover, this album is absolutely perfect. Black Dahlia Murder is the biggest juggernaut of metal that shows no signs of slowing down, prepare for the onslaught of what is called Deflorate to blow your mind.
