HATEBREED is back at full force with their latest self-titled release, which sees the band doing what they do best: making an album full of fist pumping anthems from start to finish, while giving the honest and sincere message to keep your head up. HATEBREED is still one of the most brutal, honest, and authentic bands out there and they've got plenty to say on their latest self titled release.
The fast fist pumper of “Between Hell And A Heartbeat” perfectly showcases the band's East Coast tuned down hardcore, while also letting their metal influences shine. The verses gallop furiously, letting out a ton of shred. New (an... (read more)

Deathcore has been done to death. The majority of bands of this genre mainly focus on how heavy they are, making sure that there are plenty of bass drops and blast beats. If you're in a band like Whitechapel, do you try to separate yourself from all of your followers, or do you stick to the sound that made you famous? They chose to settle somewhere in middle, and they seemed to choose option.
If you were ... (read more)

Drummer machine Paul Mazurkiewicz of death metallers Cannibal Corpse caught up with me while out at the band's Hollywood stop on the current tour. They discussed the upcoming holiday season along with the good and the bad effects of the interviewing process and what the fans can expect from an overall Cannibal Corpse slaughter fest if not having already experienced one.

Whitechapel is one of the biggest acts in the deathcore scene, and with their newest release, A New Era of Corruption, the band is prepared to take over metal entirely. I caught up with guitarist, Alex Wade while his band was headlining The Corruptour, with Impending Doom, Miss May I, Oceano, and I Declare War. Check it out…

Dirge Within's guitarist Shaun caught up with me on the band's most recent stop on the current tour, a fusion of Trivium's bill and Hatebreed's. Shaun spoke to me about the current touring route, which band he spends the most time with, down to the pranks he's pulled while goofing off behind the scenes. Aside from those stories he also threw out details regarding the band's... (read more)
